Overview
Mirror is a daily journaling app created by Muse Coaching. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data Mirror collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user.
The short version: Mirror stores everything on your device. We don't collect your journal entries, we don't know who you are, and we don't sell your data to anyone.
Data we collect
Mirror does not collect personal information. The app does not require you to create an account, provide your name, or share an email address.
All data you create in Mirror — including your journal entries, life chapter selection, mood check-ins, and streak history — is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's built-in storage. This data never leaves your device.
Data we do not collect
Mirror does not collect, transmit, or store:
Journal entries or written responses
Name, email address, or any identifying information
Location data
Device identifiers
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Any information about your Muse coaching relationship
Local notifications
If you enable daily reminders, Mirror uses Apple's local notification system to deliver them. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers.
Third-party services
Mirror does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or data platforms. We do not use tracking SDKs of any kind.
The quotes displayed in Mirror are attributed to their respective authors and sources. Viewing a quote does not transmit any data to those authors or their organizations.
Apple App Store
When you download Mirror from the App Store, Apple may collect certain information in accordance with their own privacy policy. This is outside of our control. You can review Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/privacy.
Children's privacy
Mirror is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
